Calvin Daniels was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, and resides in Yorkton where he is an Assistant Editor and Senior Reporter with Yorkton This Week. His stories have been widely published and Daniels has won twelve Saskatchewan Weekly Newspaper Awards. His love of hockey was galvanized by Paul Henderson’s famous 1972 goal, and he has enjoyed covering the SJHL’s Yorkton Terriers for the past four years.
